These notes serve as a guide to filling out our custom peptide synthesis order
form. If you prefer not to use this form, please feel free to use
any of the other ways of contacting us!
Synthetic peptide
Whatever your requirements are, we feel confident that we can accomodate you. If required, we
can even synthesize custom building blocks to be used in the peptide synthesis. So tell us; How would you like yours?
Peptide name
Try keeping the name relatively short or it may be truncated, for instance on labels.
N-terminus
We have only listed the most commonly requested modifications, though many more are available.
Just choose "other" and state what modification you require in the comments box at the bottom of the form.
Sequence
Use either 1- or 3-letter codes and denote non-standard or modified amino acids
by enclosing them in parentheses. E.g. (pS), (phos-Ser), or (phosphorylated Serine).
Note that we can even synthesize custom building blocks for peptide synthesis if this should be requried.
If you wish for us to couple the peptide to some molecule or a column, then if possible,
we would like for the sequence to contain a single cystein located in either one of the termini in order to
facilitate the coupling.
C-terminus
We have only listed the most commonly requested modifications, though many more are available.

Amount
This is the minimum yield of the peptide synthesis. If you have requested conjugation, or additional services
then a lesser amount of free peptide may be delivered.
Purity
Crude peptides are typically >50% pure, however this purity is not guaranteed. For guaranteed level of
purity, please order peptides at an explicit purityt, e.g. 70%.
